An automated caller presented the correct password and was refused — twice — by one of the largest identity systems on Earth. Its owner signed in from the same chair in seconds. The paper names the five reads the door performed, and argues the refusal is the general form of the only agent defense that works: judge the act, its shape, and its source — never merely the credential it carries.
