Announcement · 23 October 2026

Chain signing is live.

Sealed twice — hash-linked, and signed.

Every verdict record is now sealed two ways: hash-linked to the record before it, and signed — Ed25519 — by the gate itself. The public key is served openly by the API, so any record can be verified by anyone, without trusting the gate.

Don’t take the announcement’s word for it

A signature proves who sealed a record and that it has not changed since. It does not prove the verdict was right — that still stands on the published rules, which is the distinction the architecture page states in full.

The public key

GET https://api.verityverdict.com/api/v1/chain/pubkey — served openly, no key or account required.

The key itself

Ed25519, JWK x value: _uAHcLntRDLSrLQWEQ9_Q-9QkCxokbbY60zqlde5lrw

The chain

GET /api/v1/chain reads the ledger back — metadata only. Recompute the hashes, check the signatures, in that order.
